BERLIN, April 16 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed and two others seriously injured in an accident at a leather factory in Runkel, a town in the German state of Hesse, on Thursday, according to German media outlet FOCUS Online.
Carbon dioxide poisoning is being considered a possible cause of the incident, the report said, adding that further investigations are underway.
The two injured have been transported to hospital. ■
