7.5-magnitude quake hits 4 km South of Pinotepa de Don Luis, Mexico -- USGS

NEW YORK, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 7.5 on the Richter scale jolted 4 km South of Pinotepa de Don Luis, Mexico, at 23:39:37 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 16.372 degrees north latitude and 97.911 degrees west longitude.
