Yomari Punhi festival to be celebrated in Lalitpur, Nepal

Yomaris are exhibited ahead of Yomari Punhi festival at Patan Durbar Square in Lalitpur, Nepal, Dec. 20, 2018. Yomari Punhi is a festival especially celebrated by Newar community in Nepal to mark the end of the rice harvest. Yomari is a sweetmeat dough made of rice flour from the new harvest, shaped like fish and filled with brown sugarcane and sesame seeds. Punhi is known as full moon day. (Xinhua/Sunil Sharma)
