MINSK, Feb. 28 (Xinhua) -- Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus on Thursday called on India and Pakistan to refrain from using military force.
Belarus is deeply concerned over the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the press service of the ministry said.
The ministry calls on the two countries "to show prudence and restraint, and use all possible means to remove tensions through negotiations and consultations, without resorting to military force."
Belarus consistently pursues a peaceful foreign policy and strongly advocates the resolution of any disputes exclusively by peaceful means, the ministry said.
Belarus also resolutely condemns any forms and manifestations of terrorism, regardless of the origin and motives of terrorists, the ministrIndia and Pakistany added.
