Senior official attends CWU's 70th anniversary gathering

BEIJING, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- Shen Yueyue, president of the All-China Women's Federation, attended a gathering in commemoration of the 70th founding anniversary of China Women's University (CWU) in Beijing on Friday.

Addressing the meeting, she urged the school to strengthen the discipline system that will help promote gender equality and all-round development of women and children.

Forums on female development will also be as held as part of activities to mark the 70th anniversary of CWU.
