On the night of this day, passengers could hardly feel the freezing cold outside in the warm and bright carriages of the K7069 train, linking Suihua and China's "Arctic city" of Mohe in Heilongjiang Province. This could not happen without the work of the generator car staff. The 58-year-old Teng Jiliang is one of them. Through his 20 years' career, he had been working in the noisy environment on generator cars, which somehow impaired his hearing. The patrol task is also painstaking, as it is very cold in the car.
